Service Description

Robert Linigen is a Blue Mountains potter and teacher who loves making spectacular glazes, often with found local materials. This 5 day glaze workshop will feature a range of hands on practical testing methods and supporting theory to develop and improve cone 6 glazes using materials readily available from Australian pottery suppliers. These methods can be used at all temperatures but all test glazes in this workshop will be fired at cone 6 in an electric kiln. Includes demonstrations of glaze application methods, record keeping, glaze software and each student can download Rob’s comprehensive workshop notes, including images and recipes of the results from his previous workshops. Rob is a former Head Teacher at Nepean TAFE and has years of experience in teaching ceramics at all levels to a wide range of students. What to bring P2 or N95 mask in a zip lock bag notebook, pens, hand towel, mug your own lunch camera/phone USB A memory stick with minimum 1 gb of space or download notes from a We Transfer link.
