Family one-off wheelthrowing

Service Description

This session is designed for a parent and teen to spend time together bonding over the fun of learning a new skill, getting your hands dirty and enjoying the creativity that pottery brings. This 1.5 hours of pottery wheelthrowing is designed to give you a 'taster' of what it's like to create your own pieces on the pottery wheel. This session usually costs $145 per person, however we have heavily discounted it to enable both of you to attend at $95 per person for this one-off opportunity! Please do not bring children younger than 13 along to this session, it is specifically designed for ages 13 - 17. NO alcohol at this session. This one-off experience includes *tuition on the pottery wheel *clay *use of tools/equipment *bisque firing *clear glaze firing of 2 items per person. The pottery you create will be functional and available for collection or postage at your cost 3-4 weeks after your session Please wear comfortable clothes and covered shoes. (clothes and shoes may get clay splatters on them. The clay will wash off) *please do not book children younger than 13 years old into this session. (turning 13 in 2026 is fine)
